In 2026, we chose the pine tree as a symbol of “individuality and strength.

In Japan, the pine is regarded as a symbol of auspiciousness and longevity and is featured in traditional Japanese New Year's decorations called Kadomatsu.

Each pine needle, sharp like a pin, represents an “individual. While pointing in all directions, they maintain harmony as a whole without clashing with one another. As an evergreen, it possesses strong vitality that never fades, even in harsh environments.

Last year, H&K Global Connections was grateful to be involved in projects that shared our clients' impactful stories with the world through video and article production as brand content last year.

As generative AI spread globally, it prompted a deeper examination of the actual value of content. The more we learn about AI, the more we realize that true globalization isn't merely about broadcasting information everywhere.

The pine tree is pruned by the hands of a gardener, preserving its beautiful form.

In the same way, we delve deep into the down-to-earth yet heartfelt “passions” and “stories to reflect our clients' visions, pruning away unnecessary information to deliver them digitally to the world.
